She has worked in various settings including community mental health centers, schools, and private practice. Crystal is passionate about empowering her clients to improve their emotional well-being and enhance their quality of life. She utilizes a client-centered approach and evidence-based practices to provide individualized treatment to each of her clients.
In addition to her extensive training in various therapeutic modalities, Crystal is also trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), which is a highly effective treatment for trauma and other mental health issues. She has seen firsthand the transformative effects of EMDR and incorporates this evidence-based approach into her practice to help clients heal from past experiences and move forward towards a more positive future.
In addition to her therapeutic practice, Crystal is a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT 200-hour) and trained in The Trauma-Conscious Yoga Method through The Trauma-Conscious Yoga Institute. This unique training allows Crystal to integrate trauma-informed yoga principles, mindfulness, and somatic practices into therapy sessions, providing a holistic approach to healing and well-being.
Crystal recognizes that overall wellness involves not just mental and emotional health but also physical health. Her practice integrates a holistic approach to therapy, addressing the mind-body connection and emphasizing the importance of self-care and healthy lifestyle choices to promote optimal wellness. Whether you’re seeking support for trauma recovery, relationship growth, or personal development, Crystal’s goal is to create a safe and supportive environment tailored to your needs; working together toward meaningful and lasting transformation.
